1 year anniversary brew

On this most auspicious day, the First Anniversary of our Intrepid Jaquval Brewpub, we wanted to peel back the misty layer of history and regale you, our valued guest, with a legend we hold most dear: That of the beer you hold in your hands…

In the early Fifth Century, the Roman Empire lay in ruin. A confused mass of people stood in the ashes of this newly born time of uncertainty, looked at each other and wondered, simply, ‘what the hell should we do now?’ In the crushing silence that followed, a bold, lone voice spoke; that of a Trappist monk (who was there for some reason) St Benedict. He lifted his proffered bottles high and said: ‘Get drunk?’

In a rare show of humanity agreeing on something the people rejoiced! And so the Belgian Quad was born.

At least, that’s how we heard it went!

In that same spirit of camaraderie and shared experiences, we now offer a toast to both ourselves but, most importantly, to you, our fans. This whole party would be nothing without you!

CHEERS

navidad en la cliff 9.3%

On the surface this beer is a solid 9.4% Mexican chocolate stout packed to the brim with cinnamon, pasilla, and guajillo peppers. Not too spicy, not too sweet, it balances perfectly on the palette like every classic beer should. What makes it that much more special, however, is that it's brewed in collaboration with our Texas House Representative Ms. Jessica Gonzales, an Oak Cliff native who reached out to us to help bring this beer to life. We could go on and on about the good work the Texas Craft Brewers Guild has done over the years but we've run out of room...suffice it to say, you wouldn't be drinking this without them!
